Define the classification hierarchy: Asset Class → Segment → Sub-Class. Securities reference these by stable ID — renaming a display name here changes it everywhere instantly with no data migration.
Master reference for security classification. Changes here override the raw data.
Values for liquid:
Liquid or Illiquid | above_line: Above the Line or Below the Line

These securities will appear in the fee report with $0 fee and will not count toward AUM for tier calculations.
Use 0 bps to exclude a ticker from the fee. Leave a ticker out to use the default rate.
Override the family schedule for specific accounts. Accounts without an override use the family schedule above.
These rates override everything — they apply to all accounts regardless of family or account-level exceptions.

Upload Schwab exports and non-Schwab positions. Data regenerates automatically on every upload.
Use this only for cash flows that never touched Schwab — e.g. an outside account wired a distribution straight to the GP, or a capital call was paid from a checking account. If the flow appears on a Schwab statement (deposit, withdrawal, or transfer), reclassify it from Account Detail → Activity drill → Classification instead — anything entered here and on Schwab will be double-counted. Amounts going in are positive; amounts coming out are negative.

Flags implausible one-day price moves in Schwab source files (price jumps > 3× or < 1/3× with the same share count — almost always a feed bug, e.g. a missing currency conversion). Violations must be reviewed before the regen pipeline will update performance numbers.
Suppressing a data point drops that (account, ticker, date) cell from every downstream calculation (raw_data.csv, performance.json, consolidated_data). The original Schwab source files are never modified.

Suppressed Data Points

Rename a taxonomy label or ticker across every file that references it — in a single atomic operation. Touches security_metadata.json, targets.csv, benchmarks.json, sleeve_targets.json, non_schwab_positions.json, ns_cashflows.json, and raw_data.csv (depending on the target type).
Always use Preview first — it shows the exact files and counts that would change without writing anything. Apply creates a timestamped backup directory before any writes, then triggers a data regen.
Sub-Class
Renames a sub-class label (e.g. U.S. Large Cap → US Large Cap) across security_metadata, targets.csv, benchmarks.json, sleeve_targets.json, and raw_data.csv.
Asset Class
Renames an asset class label (e.g. Equity → Equities) across security_metadata and raw_data.csv.
Segment
Renames a segment label (e.g. Public → Liquid) across security_metadata and raw_data.csv.
Ticker
Renames a ticker symbol across security_metadata (rekeys the entry), non_schwab_positions, ns_cashflows, and raw_data.csv. Refuses if the new ticker already exists (no silent merges).
Define whole-tree allocation models. Classes must sum to 100%, each class's segments must sum to 100%, each segment's sub-classes must sum to 100%.
